I went early morning on june29 to see this movie. Few things:
1. The theater was PACKED for a 9:45a show. Awesome!
2. Yes, popcorn was consumed that early lol
3. It was a decent plot line; not as predictable as some often say that Mr. Perry’s movie and plays are.
4. I laughed the ENTIRE time almost!! I definitely developed a 6-pack.
5. I love his out takes at the end…really nice that he adds those!
6. Sooooo many different things going on in this movie…and I love how they were all connected!

My review coding:

Hot Pink Nails: MUST SEE
Pale Yellow Nails: It’s cool
Chipped Blue Nails: Wait for DVD
NO POLISH: Waste of time and money

I give this movie HOT PINK NAILS…go check it out!!

Happy viewing!

Three Great Workout Tips

1. Eat something light before any workout– I’m not saying a 4-course meal, but you should most certainly eat something light ONE HOUR prior to a workout. Fruit, oatmeal, cereal, etc. Your body needs the energy, and the food will assist in providing that energy; if you don’t eat, you may feel nauseous, light-headed, or other symptoms (I learned this from experience…please eat before working out)

2. Bring water or a water supplement w you to your workout.– self-explanatory…working out tends to bring about sweat, which can dehydrate you. Water, Gatorade, or some form of vitamin water will quench the beast known as “thirst”.

3. Always stretch BEFORE a workout, and do cool down exercises after your workout– you don’t wanted begin a workout w out warming up your muscles/limbs, so light stretching is extremely important. After your workout session, muscles that you’ve worked need time to “relax”, if you will lol. Therefore, you should make sure to do cool down exercises which will also decrease the heart rate.

Hope these tips were helpful!

DISCLAIMER: these tips are from personal experience, and have been practiced by me (Elle) over a long period of time. Choose Responses Wisely! (17)

You have to truly recognize when someone has decided that YOU are their target. And it doesn’t have to be a specific reason i.e. you forgot to call them at 8pm but called them at 8:02pm (petty right?), you missed their birthday celebration, etc., or you’ve decided to focus more on your own life…I meeeeeeeean the above reasons ARE reasons that people will put you in their line of fire…and w subtweets/sub-FB statuses/subpar communication…but it’s strictly up to you how you will respond…or whether you will even respond.

People have made a career out of being sh*t starters; that’s just what they do. They are often times annoying, attention-seekers, insecure, or some are purely just in it for a healthy debate (not all sh*t starters are whack lol). But now…you KNOW FULL WELL the difference. Just be advised that when you are doing great, stuff will always be thrown at you. If you are in a state of misery, or things aren’t on the up and up right now, some people secretly LOVE a person to struggle. Let me help you out (and this has worked for me):

1. Let them do what and how they do– you can’t change a person, but you do have options! Everything is about “choices”. If you don’t wish to communicate with them, well then don’t! If it’s on a professional level, and you’re dealing w a jerk, just remain professional in all exchanges; once they are aware that you just aren’t falling into their trap, they will move on to another.

2. Do not respond to their ignorance– this is self-explanatory; you don’t even have to acknowledge them. HIGH key, that pisses them off. That’s not necessarily your aim (or maybe it is lol), but remember…from a distance, a person can’t tell who the fool is if two people are arguing. Don’t give in to their whack agendas; it’s NEVER worth it. People able to pull you all the way out of your body like that have OFFICIALLY placed you in their pockets. Just ignore them.

3. Think about the source– if you know this person regularly has something to say, keep that in mind also before you make the decision to react.

4. Laugh– it burns calories anyway

People are on assignment to cause discord, and unfortunately, some of these assignments are self-imposed. There are a few who actually get paid to be jerks lol (I won’t name names, but you KNOW who they are, think about media outlets). But to the ones who are out here blindly on a mission to disrupt peace? Don’t be their next client.

Restaurant Review-Corner Bakery Café

I am a foodie (a size four foodie at that), and a true weakness of mine? BREAD!! I tell you what…Cornery Bakery Café never disappoints on the croissants. They also have sandwiches (I.e. ham, roast beef, chicken salad), a wide variety of other entrees, pastries, desserts, etc., but I’m stuck on their delicious croissants!

If ever you are near a Corner Bakery, STOP IN!

Benefit of drinking Black and Green Teas!

I recently questioned the benefit of drinking tea PERIOD because tea makes me unbelievably dehydrated. I typically only want tea when I’m not feeling my best, ooooooor to have a laugh by aggravating my best friend by drinking his tea, simply because it’s there. LOL

I researched this, and came across an article from the WebMD…here is an excerpt (article title is “Health Tip: Try Tea for a Healthy Resolution):

“For disease-fighting antioxidants, tea is hard to beat. Black tea and green tea have the most health-boosting effects, but green tea seems to be especially beneficial.

Some research suggests that these teas may help:

Lower cholesterol when you eat a heart-healthy diet
Improve blood vessel and heart health
Reduce damage to DNA caused by smoking
Reduce the risk of some cancers…”

Those were just a few of the benefits that I found when browsing through several articles! My next purchase? This here!

I’m sure I’ll enjoy this!

Confession

FYI: I absolutely hate my “job”…the thing I’m using to pay bills only. And because I hate it sooooo much, I had to do something about it!

I formed PRbyELLE77 as a means to get me out of the rut of a “job”. I now have a career! I’m an entrepreneur who is, unfortunately, still employed w a going-nowhere position, that I have no desire to keep. There have been days where quitting was on the table even before I made it in. My peace of mind from “9-5” isn’t at all a resemblance of peace…please. The clock while at that place is my enemy…time just never moves fast enough.

I have been praying on a solution, searching for something better–something I would actually enjoy going to–and something that goes along the lines of what I currently do! Economy is low, right along w the number of available careers, so creating my own had to win over all else. What’s so CRAZY is…I love the people that I work with; I just absolutely hate the JOB. Grateful to be able to pay my bills…just praying for another avenue to pay said bills. Luckily I don’t have credit card debt or student loans, so I’m glad of that.

My confession will conclude like so: I will not sulk daily about the hatred for that place, but I will continue to grow and expand PRbyELLE77, and I will continue to use my gifts to get me to where I know I am of better use. I feel like a robot at the “job”; I feel needed in my career!

Take a leap of faith! Hell, my NEXT confession may be one that will surprise even ME!
